Arryx Appoints Nicole S. Williams to its Board of Directors - Kenneth Bradley Promoted to COO
Arryx, Inc. today announced the appointment of Nicole S. Williams
to the company's Board of Directors, and the promotion of Kenneth
Bradley to Chief Operating Officer.
Ms. Williams currently serves as the executive vice president and
chief financial officer of American Pharmaceutical Partners, Inc.,
and has more than 30 years of financial management experience in
diverse industries. Prior to joining American Pharmaceutical Partners,
she advised various early stage, technology, and life science intensive
businesses. Before becoming a consultant, Ms. Williams was executive
vice president, chief financial officer, and corporate secretary
of R. P. Scherer Corporation, a global drug delivery company, where
she was part of the core senior management team that expanded product
offerings and tripled revenues during her seven-year tenure.
Previously, Ms. Williams held senior positions at SSPS, Inc., where
she was executive vice president of worldwide operations, chief
financial officer, and director for the software company. Prior
positions include vice president and treasurer of CECO Industries
and vice president and treasurer of Swift Independent Corporation,
a major US meatpacker. She is also a member of the board of directors
of Orchid BioSciences, Inc. Ms. Williams holds an MBA from the University
of Chicago and a Master Degree in Internal Economics from the University
of Geneva, Switzerland.
Arryx also announced today that Kenneth Bradley has been promoted
to the newly created position of COO of Arryx. Dr. Bradley has been
Vice President of Operations for Arryx since January 2001. Dr. Bradley
founded Phoenician Market Places, Inc., a technology development
firm which focuses on transforming technological innovation from
laboratory conception to financially successful products and businesses.
While completing post-doctoral work at M.I.T., Dr. Bradley became
a consultant to ARCH Development Corporation, performing technology
evaluations as well as market analysis. He later worked in product
development for Nanophase Technologies Corporation, was a software
product manager for Morningstar, Inc., and became Morningstar's
Publisher of Electronic Products.
